Biography

 Singer/songwriter John Truscelli's unique and soulful voice along with the bands eclectic instumentation crosses all genres of music.  Members include Jess Rose Moidel on violin and backing vocals,  Mike Huberman on banjo,mando,dobro,guitar, Tyler Easton and Sean McLaughlin on Bass, Andy Sweetser at live shows and Mike Levesque on the upcoming record for drums.  Some other members include Tyler Truscelli on guitars,  Christopher Zaragoza on percussion. Gina Rose Percival on backing vocals and Angie Janzen on viola.  John and the band weave their way through rock. bluegrass. and alt-country sounds, creating their own version of many cover songs. 
John has also been writing and recording his original music for many years.  John was an honorable mention for the Telluride Bluegrass Troubadour competition in 2013.   The single, "Hard To Say Goodbye",  was featured on "Deadliest Catch" on the Discovery Channel, as well as the movie "The Fifth Quarter". The song  "The Devil Inside you" w/Stacy Earl is the main track for the film "Don't Sleep".  John works and records with Sean McLaughlin at 37ft Productions in Rockland, MA. (37ft.com.)  Tim Stroh at Mad House Studios in Leadville, CO.  And Pete DeBoer at worldfamousstudios.com in Denver, CO.
John has worked  on many recording projects including the movie, "The Fifth Quarter", as well as the song, "Mother Earth", (Calling all voices) at Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta. Chuck Leavell (Rolling Stones), Ed Roland (Collective Soul), Peter Stroud (Sheryl Crow, Shawn Mullins), Drivin & Cryin and many other artists.   He has also played with Clint Black,  Trenna Barnes, Girls Guns and Glory, and opened for such acts as Robert Randolph and the Family Band, The Samples, Coco Montoya, Martin Sexton, Trailer Choir,  Splitlip Rayfield, Ryan Montbleu, and Waylon Payne. The single "Around the sun" and follow ups "Rage of the sea" and "Time and Money" have current radio play on KYSL and KSMT.
